    Water collecting under observer seat

I have a 2004 210 and I am getting water collecting in the small hole in the floor board under the observer seat. This hole is best described as having a brace that goes into this hole. It looks to me like the bottom of this hole is the same bottom as what is in the bow. Water that does not go down the drain in the bow collects in this area I am describing. Has any one else had this problem?

I am not so concerned about getting the water, I am sure that can solved. I am bothered that it is collecting in this area. It gets so full that it splashes out getting item stored under the seat wet.

So, what I did is drill a small hole into the floor of this area. I poured water into the hole and it drained like I planned, but I did not see the water show up in the bilge area. Now I am concerned I migth have just drilled into a foam floatation area (uh oh!).

    Any info would be helpful.

seal the floor hole ASAP and check your vent hoses on that side of the boat to make sure you are not taking on water when your boat is waved.

Don't seal that hole until you know what happened to the water that drained throgh the hole. Sealing the hole now, just might trap it. Send pictures so others may be able to tell you if the cavity you are draining the water into ends up in the bilge. Fix the source of the water, leave the hole open so the introduced water can eventually evaporate out. Don't do anything like that again.
