    Lifting rear trunk Project

Hey I was wondering if anyone had or has experiance with adding a lift to the rear hatch of their nautique. I have a Air (216) I was wondering where you would mount the lift and how heavy of a lift you would use.

Example would you just add a electric accuator to where the gas shock's are mounted or would you have to use a heavy duty ram like what they use on a solid V drive Nautique lifting hatch.

One last question. The Key pad on my 2002 has a up arrow and down arrow could these be used for the up and down buttons for the rear trunk

I would go with that lift for sale on wakeworld, then just fab up some brackets and to fit it where your gas shock is located. It might lift the hatch crooked though, so you might want to just keep one gas shock and add the elec. lift to the opposite side.

The arrows on the key pad were intended for a rear hatch lift. The wiring is there in my 2000 SN It may be there in yours. See the schematics for the right color wires.
