okay heres the deal and i know it may sound like a stupid ques.,but being my first winter with a nautique i want to be sure that i store it properly.i live in asheville north carolina where the winters are somewhat mild. a few snows(50/50 chance) and the temp drops to the high teens to the low 20s a couple of weeks out of the winter.now before ya'll say yes..winterize heres my dilema.i've got a detached 25' x 30' garage that she sits in  ..with power its not climate controlled but i thought about buying a few heaters to put around the boat and eng. area on those cold nights.my main reason for not wanting to is that we still have some warm snaps throughout winter and it maybe nice to put the boat in the water and ride around for a bit.any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated.thanks-cody

RE: winterize or not winterize?
Depending on the quality of power. ie is doesn't fail when it's freezing. I think I would get a block heater that fits into the oil dipstick. I'm in California though so it would be better to hear from the people around you.Nautiqueless in San Diego

RE: winterize or not winterize?
At the very least drain the water in the block, ad stabil, and change the fluids. I am in Knoxville TN and have had -24 with no power for over a week. That doesnt happen often thank goodness, (once in the last 20 years), but for the small amount of $$ and time it takes to do it, its worth it.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower
