Refinish Swim Platform with All Guard's Teak Guard

Any experience with a product called Teak Guard? Is it really superior to teak oil? If so, any tips?

IMO - I would not refinish a plateform unless I was selling. I have always used brake fluid almost the same as teak oil. JMO
