    Very light oxidation

The blue stripe on my 2000 has some very light oxidation on it. Looks more like a "bloom" and can only be seen in certain light and angles. I have some "3M Finnese it" and a wool cover on a buffer. Any tips on using the buffer on gelcoat. What about the speed, pressure of buffer, use near pinstripes. Are there any better products to use
    Thanks in advance

    RE: Very light oxidation

Follow the recommended RPM on the bottle. No need for much extra pressure- let the pad and product do their thing. Pinstripes should be fine as long as youre careful, but if youre nervous it wouldnt hurt to cover them with some masking tape.

Im a huge fan of the Finesse-It II, but its only a polish. In my experience, it will take a pretty serious compound to remove fading or oxidation at a minimum- usually wetsanding is necessary.

I had some scratches I wanted to get out and used GW's instructions step by step. I swear that guy should write a book "How to own a Nautigue"
