2001 SAN Ballast System...Reversible ballast pump?

I have a question about the ballast system on a 2001 super air nautique. I am going to add and additional bag to the system (center ski locker) and was wondering if the ballast system utilized a reversible system or two different pumps. Also, if you have done this modification before; any tips would be appreciated.

Your ballast has two pumps one to fill the ballast and one to drain the ballast. If you look beside your engine you can see the fill pump pushes through the drain pump.
