Carter low pressure fuel pump for ZR6

People, does anyone know if the low pressure fuel pump used on the ZR6 Part no: RA080018 pushes 72GPH or 100GPH or something else.

Bottom line is the cost of this pump is stupid at my local dealer. I can find what appears to be the same pump at a V8 parts dealer locally for less than half price but need to confirm GPH to make absolutely sure ... can anyone help?
    Thanks
    Matt

SkiDIM would be my bet as well. Be sure that any replacement pump is safe for marine use. Oftentimes that is the (legitimate) reason for the difference in price.

Thanks, I'll ask skidim. The aftermarket part is bare metal just like the auto part but I intend to hammerite paint it before fitting to make sure. Thanks for advice/responses.

Im not overly familiar with EFI fuel pumps, but the mechanical pumps used on carb'd boats vary from their auto equivalents from a safety perspective. They'll send fuel up through a site tube to the flame arrestor/carb when the diaphram ruptures, rather than dump gas into the bilge.

You'll want to verify that the auto version has all the same safety provisions as the marine unit. The difference may be much more important than corrosion protection.
