changing from a bucket passenger seat to the gull wing

Is this practical? I can build the seat base and have it covered, but is this an expensive endever? I had a 85 where the seat flipped forward, but wanted a newer nautique witht he gull wing seat for easy access to stuff. Now I have a 93 sport and it is the bucket seat.

I know anything can be done, but is this something that I should consider or should I just leave it be. Is the gull wing seat nice for you. Worth enough to convert it for me?

RE: changing from a bucket passenger seat to the gull wing

Can you work with fiberglass? The base can be built relatively inexpensively if youre willing to try. I modified the 2-piece base on my '90 to mimic that of a '93. The most expensive part of the project would be the vinyl.

The gull wing makes for easy access to storage- though my experience is limited to closed bows.

      Gullwing seat

i have a 94 SNOB and like the storage under the gullwing seat. Although it's kind of a PIA if you've got passengers and need to get something out. If I didn't have that space for storage though, I'd have none at all.

That's the only thing I don't like about my boat, precious little storage space.
