Does anyone have a procedure to set up a new Throttle cable on 2001 SN. My throttle seems to go way forward before operating the Throttle Body, yet It appears to have no slack in it.

RE: Morse Control
You can adjust the throw of the cable at the controler sided only. There are two holes on the throttle control that you can choose from. The right way to adjust it is to have the throttle in forward gear right when it engages the transmission and adjust the cable to slip in with no resistance. Then put your cotter pins in and your done. The tranny cable is supposed to slip in the brackets in nuetral with out any resistance. I hope that makes sense.

That is not the throw. That is the length of the cable only. The throw is the arc that they travel in. I was wrong on the throttle having two holes. The tranny has two holes. Here is a illustration to show you what I mean. I replaced the old one in my 2001 and still have the installatoin instructions.2001 Super Air Nautique

Thanks, any chance you could psot the instructions. I think the throttle cable is spring loaded on a slider at the morse control end so wondered how to ajust correctly. I see the two holes for the tranny in your pic, which one should be used? Also my throttle body has two holes on the arm, so I'd like to know which ones to use as different throws on each.
