We have been having intermitant problems with the digital display on our 2004 SAN team edition RPM gauge.
Whilst the gauge is operating, generally while driving, the display will drop out and will remain blank. To get the display back the engine and display has to powered down and restarted and then it will run as normal.
ON the odd ocasion the same time the dispaly drops out the warning buzzer will sound. The buzzer will continue to sound until the restart to the dash has been made.
The engine does not go into limp mode and all engine other indicators show normal operation.
This may not be related to the problem, but may provide further information to the problem. We have also noticed that the Low pressure oil warning indication on the display will ocassionally display during start up of the engine. The independent gauge indicating oil pressure reads OK.
Any assistance will be appreciated. Unfortunatly we are in Australia with the boat and do not have a dealer that can help us. Cheers Matt
