    Installing a WS420

    My setup:
-JL 6 channel running the interior speakers(one per channel)
-Factory Clairon 4 channel bridged to two channels for the Pro 80's on the tower
-Factory Clairon 2 channel bridged to one for the sub.

I wanted to mount my 420 under the key pad on my '08 210
First I pulled down the silver piece from under my dash and dropped all the wires down to the floor. I opend my ski locker and found the on the right side and pulled them through to the other side of the boat. Next I unpluged all the factory RCAs and removed them. I t-tapped in the remote wire going to the 420. I then found a power and ground wire underneath the dash and t-tapped them in also. Now the 420 would light up so I knew I now had power. I re-mounted the silver piece under the dash and then mounted my 420 where I wanted it. After I mounted it I followed the directions from wetsounds on how to tune it by doing each amp one at a time. After this I wire tied and wire lumed everything to make it look professional.

Install time approx 4.5 hrs. and 1 twelve pack of beer. (might have taken less time had I drank less beer! )

My take on the 420: One of the best sound system upgrades yet! I love it.

    Pics will come soon.

Any pictures of the mounting location? I have a 2006 SANTE and am thinking of doing this under the throttle on the drivers side.
    Do the right thing.......

i'd put it under the remote on the left side of the wheel. that way the passenger could adjust volume if need be and you don't have to look away from the water so much to mess with it. just my personal preference. there are alot of pics on earmark's site and on this site as well.
