2002 Sante complete overhaul/ upgrade

I am currently mid way thru a complete overhaul/upgrade of my 2002 Sante 210 right now, bought the bought a few months ago and although it was in good shape, i got it cheap and always wanted a personalized/custom boat, so figured this was a good candidate!

Boat is being upgraded as closely as possible to resemble a 2006 sante with the camo graphic, the only things that will not be the same will be the gauges/dash and the tower, since its not worth the cost to upgarde that to 06! and of course the prop will still be turning the "right" way!!

Heres a pic of the boat as i got it and then some of the tear down.

First things completed were having the tower and window trim powdercoated silver, cost me $500 for sandblast and powdercoat. Next i installed the graphics, not an easy job, but patience pays off, still undecided wether im going to fill in between the 2 black stripes solid black or remove the lower one completely.

The rear wedge tanks have been gutted to make way for 750 sacs with johnson pumps. Leaving the stock center tank and adding the xstar 250lb bow sacs under my bow seats, after cutting out the cooler and repositioning the heater core further under the dash they fit rather well, i elected to use seperate bags rather than the vsac since i had these bags laying around and i'd prefer to be able to seperate sides as we mostly surf these days. I'm using the factory rule fill/drain pumps removed from the rear tanks to fill/drain the new bow bags, i was able to fit 3 fill pumps off the factory center thru hull!! All 3 front fill hoses will be plumbed up as high as possible under the dash then turned back down with pvc u bends and back to the center tank and front bags to prevent siphon filling. Will have 5 seperate switches for each bag/tank.

i am in the middle of putting in the new BLACK carpet, half the interior has been recovered in the newer design. I hate the stereos on the drivers side panel so elected to move it to the glovebox, upon doing so i was left with a giant bulge and opening so i decided to shave the panel and cutomize the shape closer to an 03up side panel, giving me more room along the side floor, i also brought the speaker mount out for the new polk db651 speakers. i used some fiberglass cloth and resin to smooth out the panel and some kitty hair to finish it off it will be wrapped with light gray vinyl, and my ballast swicthes will be mounted where the factory ballast gauges were(yet to cut out that opening). I changed all the factory teleflex/vision gauges out to the faria Chesapeake white SS, white face stainless bezel gauges, i also painted the keypad surrounds white, for the perfect pass i upgraded to the newer version chip and a multi line display they made for me with a white face and stainless bezel to match.

well progress is being made, rear johnson ballast pumps are plumbed, mounted them to the floor. Carpet is done, upholstery is half way there, pics of that to come.

Boat's looking great! Where did you end up getting your vinyl skins from?

Didnt buy skins i had my upholsterer friend make it all. Boat is complete, turned out great surfs amazing both sides, gets looks all over the lake. very happy with how it came out.

rewired a new stereo, moved the deck to the glovebox, got some kicker kmt6 tower speakers, they really pound, highly recommend for a budget speaker that sounds great. I also threw some green underwater leds and i ended up modfiying an old under the tower bimini i had left from my 07 i sold and mounted it on top of my tower. This boat will be going up FOR SALE soon...................

Boat looks awesome man!! Did your buddy have a pattern to go off of or did he free hand it? the upholstery looks perfect!
