FWIW, I use Rotella Synthetic in the Summer and Mobile 1 5w30 in the winter for engine oil.

I use Mobil 1 15w50 with a K&N or Mobil 1 filter in all my boats . I change every 50 hours as PCM recommends. I change the trans fluid every 50 hours also its just so easy to do it while everything is apart doing the oil change.
