On my old direct drive I used to have a great little place to store this sucker on the efi unit when not in use, but on a vdrive its not convenient to get to. On the '05 it was at the rear of the boat so I left it on the swimstep or in a cup holder- could do the cup holder but had an oil leak for last season so occasionally there is oil on the plug which i dont want on carpet or upholstery... Went with these... 3mm command removable hooks on the gas tank right next to where I pull the plug. Drove from San Diego to AZ... Stayed right in place, pretty happy with it, maybe someone else can use it.
