Diy surf gates SANTE 210 2011

Here are some images of the surf Gates I installed on my 2011 Super air nautique 210. Results are great.

That’s awesome if that’s an automated set up! Any shots of under the swim platform and how you mounted this equipment?

Cool. More info would be great.

What did you use for a controller?

      Are they lenco rams?

I did use Lenco Rams. I don't have any pictures of the underside of my 210. Here are some pictures of the underside of my old 2005 211 team. This was my first attempt. Worked great on both boats. I'm not using any type of controller just running through the battery and to The Rocker switches

The hull design on the 210 wouldn't allow me to put the size of high density polyethylene plates under the deck that I used on the 211.

how does it steer when deployed? Is it similar to suck gate?

Looks good, I’ve been thinking:g on doing something similar on my 08 210. Does your setup impact on the boarding wake, I’m wondering if it would produce turbulence and mess with the wake/lip a little?.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely interested in pics of the wake both deployed and not deployed. Did you sell that 211 without any trouble having that in there? Also, did you bolt those pieces all the way through the hull or just screw into it? That’s a lot of mods to the hull making me nervous right there. It looks nice though

You can definitely feel it is deployed, you get used to it. Rams are deployed or retracted in about 3 seconds. If you don't like the drive experience they are easy to pull in and push back out. I leave them out and make adjustments to how I pick up my Surfers.

Not entirely sure on the wakeboard speeds. I was concerned because I still ride my slalom on this 210. When the boat is at faster speeds the gates are not even touching the water. I'm going to say at 20 miles an hour it is probably not even touching the water as well.

No trouble selling 05 211. they have had it all season last year, never heard anything from them on problems. the hinges and ram are screwed in. pre-drill, fill hole with silicone, stainless screws, done. made me nervous as well (even more so on 2011 boat), cant imagine being without now. had to mount both systems very differently based on hull design of 211 vs 210 both had great results. since then i have plumbed in 3 fatsacs to the boat for additional weight. just keeps getting better
