Decided to restore my teak platform as my first project this season. PO had applied polly ( Big No ) so I used deck stripper and scraped for a couple hours. After removing most of the polly I used Olympic deck cleaner and gave it a good scrub with a wire brush then rinsed off with water. After allowing it to completely dry I then sanded with 150 , rinsed again and let dry, then sanded again to 320. I will continue up to 600 grit , then wet sand with the teak oil to about 800. Here is a pic of the bottom before striping the poly, and the platform drying after sanding to 320 and rinsing it.
