Lower Flight Control Tower alone ( bow winch)

    Hi Al,
Just a quick heads up this worked pretty well. We used the bow winch and put the strap around the arch and basically winched it up to about the midpoint. And me and my younger son were then able to let it down onto the resting pad. So if you’re by yourself or a little shorthanded you can just unwind the strap and winch your tower forward to about midway and then tip it
forward by hand and let it come to rest on the bow (cushion).

That's a good idea. I have been running a tow strap around the tower and through the bow lifting eye. Works well, too.

And I guess one other thought is, measure where the strap would be to stand the tower up past tipping point. Mark your strap somehow then if you wanted to stand the tower up by yourself or a little shorthanded you could at least lift the tower up and have it 2/3 of the way.

And then lower it down onto the base with your tow strap.

Still very heavy but at least safer/ manageable and you know you’re not gonna drop it onto the tower!
