Looks great! Mine is done too, and I am very happy with it. I had my cooler seat from the other side duplicated at an upholstry shop for $100 and built the seat base myself out of marine plywood. I covered it with marine carpet that I got at Lowe's, and it matched pretty well! The vinyl on my seat matches almost perfectly, and the seat looks stock. I really like the idea of shaping the seat like you did. That is a really good idea.

Oh, and my fear was confirmed that the carpet is a tad fluffier than stock given the age of my boat, plus the vinyl looks a little too clean, but a little use should remedy!!

I have 1 question, can you take a picture of the base (pref. bottom). It looks like you have the base on some sort of legs (don't know the correct English word). Why is this?

Yes, I'll run off a pic when I get home of the bottom. Since the box houses a subwoofer, I cut vents along the front edge and the side for sound and to vent it. They're not really "legs", per se.

OK, managed to dig up a couple pix of the box in progress. Painted the bottom to seal it up and the side 'vents' are readily visible. Had to 'glass it on top and the sides to compensate for the thinner top I had to use in order to get sub clearance.
