Official Bass Cat Press Release:
Mountain Home, AR (January 2, 2020) –- Bass Cat Boats announced today that it will partner with Wild West Bass Trail to enhance the company’s footprint in the influential and rapidly-expanding western bass scene.
“We have long supported the western anglers who face a different set of challenges and opportunities than those in other parts of the country,” said Bass Cat President Rick Pierce. “Wild West Bass Trail provides us with a platform to spread our brand name to the best of the best in partnership with individuals and companies who share our values and goals.”
As part of the partnership, the Pro-Am Professional Champion will receive a fully-rigged Bass Cat Puma FTD paired with a Mercury 250 Pro XS, and the Co-Angler champion will win a Pantera Classic rigged with a Mercury 200 Pro XS. For the Team events, the winning teams of both the Arizona and California Championships will each receive a Bass Cat Margay and Mercury 150 Pro XS package. A Bass Cat Caracal will be present at each tournament for demo rides and media opportunities.
“We continue to grow at a rapid pace, and as we do we’re thrilled to be able to associate with the best companies inside the industry,” said Jeremy DeHart, Owner and Operations Manager of WWBT. “We want to build meaningful partnerships, and we think we have a finger on the pulse of the hardcore western anglers.”
In addition to reaching thousands of anglers through the trail’s tournament circuits, WWBT’s heralded television program has the opportunity to reach tens of millions of homes via the Pursuit Channel.
“Western anglers face diverse conditions over the course of the year,” Pierce added. “Whether it’s desert lakes like Mead or the sprawling shallows of the California Delta, they need a boat that can deliver through big waters and all kinds of weather. We are convinced that we can provide them with that boat.”
