Merced, CA (October 20, 2016) -Centurion Boats has been awarded a patent for reimagining towboat control with the Side by Side High Definition (SxS HD) Touch Vision dash system in the Ri Series. This ambitious design has improved driver control of World Championship Centurion boats as well as the look of the dash. The SxS HD Touch Vision consists of two high definition screens that team to display related content when needed or show two separate sets of information for the ultimate in multi-tasking on the water. Both of the 7.5 high definition side by side screens shine with vibrance and clarity even in direct sun. These screens are perfectly angled in the dash to allow the driver maximum visibility of the SxS HD Touch Vision System and the water ahead. The SxS HD Touch Vision System can be navigated with the eight intuitive push buttons surrounding the screens or by touching the screens.

The functions of the SxS HD screens and surrounding eight buttons are described below.
Home
Upon start of the engine, the home screen appears. The home screen provides an aesthetically pleasing all-inclusive display of the general operations of the boat. On this screen you can easily find information regarding fuel level, speed, RPM, water temperature and depth, and exclusive Quicksurf and Centurion Articulating Tracking System (CATS), among other things. Press any button and the SxS HD home display flies to the right or left display and opens the new screen. This way you never lose sight of general or specific boat system information.
GPS
Press the GPS button to locate yourself on the water and pull up a map. Fuel, compass, and latitude and longitude information are readily available for you on this screen. Zoom in and out and pan left and right to see what’s around. Press the gear icon on the left for a menu that allows you to save and name routes, perfect for mapping the water the way you want. Mark an isolated cove, a great riding spot, gas locations, and more in the GPS feature.
Diagnostics
This is the one stop shop for diagnostics. Should your boat have any problems, mechanics will know where to begin by simply looking at the display information.
Menu
Options on the Menu screen allow you to personalize the SxS HD display and features of your boat. You can choose icons and change colors for the screen display. Take the worry out of your day by setting alarms to alert you of shallow water and low fuel. Adjust screen brightness to your preference for both day and night. International boat owners will appreciate the option to switch between Metric and US standard.
Ballast
This button brings up an image of the boat, diagramming internal tanks as well as plug and play ballast bags. View fill levels and empty tanks with simple touches on the screen. Choose “Trailer Mode” to open RAMFILL gates when you are pulling your boat out of the water. Choose “Trailer Mode” before launching your boat to close the gates.
Rider
Wakeboarders and surfers will be delighted when using the SxS HD Rider feature that saves preferred settings for riders. Save your favorite settings for RAMFILL, ZeroOff GPS speed control, PnP Ballast, and QuickSurf Pro in as many as 16 individual profiles with unique combinations for the perfect ride. Settings can be changed at any time.
Surf
The Surf button pushes your speedometer, ZeroOff speed control, water temperature, depth, fuel level, etc. to the left screen while the right screen is populated with the QuickSurf Pro, Stinger Wake Plate and Centurion Articulating Tracking System (CATS) monitoring and control.
Switch
The switch button operates the multiple switched components like interior and exterior lighting. Simply touch the screen to turn on and off docking lights, tower lights, underwater lights and more.
