Merced, CA (August 23, 2017) - Native Irishman David O’'Caoimh /o-kweev/ has taken the industry by surprise since becoming a professional wakeboarder in 2011 with a rare combination of high character and talent. We are proud to welcome him to the Centurion Boats Pro Team. At 23 years old, O’'Caoimh has placed first in various wakeboarding events 26 times and has achieved many other podium placements. His latest dominant performance came just last week when O'’Caoimh captured the top spot on the podium once again at the European & Africa Boat Wakeboarding Championships in Riga Latvia. Thanks to his fun demeanor and athletic dominance O’'Caoimh’s social video following has grown to 4.5 million views so far this year! O’'Caoimh’s positive influence extends to the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) as a Nation Level Judge and a test rider for official Wakeboard Worlds towboat selection. After O’'Caoimh’s evaluation of the Ri237 with the Opti-v Hull the IWWF selected the 2018 Centurion Ri237 as the official towboat of the Wakeboard World Championships. O'’Caoimh was so impressed with the wakeboard performance of the new generation Centurion boats he also chose to become a part of the Centurion Boats Family and we could not be happier to have him on the team.
