Official Supreme Press Release:
Valdosta, GA (July 14, 2021) - Supreme Boats welcomes Carver Buis to the Valdosta, GA Factory Team as Plant Manager. Buis is being promoted from his current position as Product Integration Manager for Centurion & Supreme Boats in Merced, CA. He is being added as one of the final pieces to the truly “Supreme” team in Georgia and he will begin this new leadership position August 30, 2021.
As a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Engineering Management, Buis is the perfect addition to the Supreme Team and extremely equipped to inspire these top performers to continue to improve. Most wouldn’t imagine the Supreme Boats Leadership Team, who has accomplished the legendary feat of finishing their first Supreme boat six months after signing the lease on a new 160,000 square foot manufacturing facility, could get much better. But Paul Singer, President of Centurion & Supreme Boats, doesn’t think like most.
“We have developed an incredible Team in Valdosta and I believe Carver is just the man to lead our Supreme Boats Operations as Plant Manager. It was not just Carver’s experience and education that made him a great candidate but his competence and character that impressed me he was the right man for the position. He will do an outstanding job of leading Supreme’s Operations for years to come!” Singer said.
Buis’s education and resume would be at the top of any employer’s list, but Singer had the vision of this promotion to the Supreme Boat Plant Manager based on the chemistry he shares with his teammates and the character with which he operates.
Buis cares about sharing the joy of water sports with others. It is something he has enjoyed since the first time he was able to watch his father water ski at the age of five. He is committed to making life better for the Supreme Boats Factory Team, dealers, partners and water sports boating enthusiasts.
“I’m honored to have been selected to lead the Supreme Boats Team in Valdosta, Georgia. Boating has had a huge impact on my life and I fully believe that we’re not just building boats in Georgia, we’re building memories on the water with family and friends that will last a lifetime. I look forward to becoming a part of the Supreme Boats Team and working towards making life better for anyone and everyone associated with the Supreme Boats brand!”
