ORLANDO, FL (2/16/04) – Correct Craft announced the appointment of Jeffrey Warner as Vice President of Sales and Customer Service with Gary Meloon moving into the position of Vice President of Marketing and Special Events. These appointments come following the recent news that Larry Meddock, Vice President of Marketing and Special Events, will be retiring on March 5, 2004.
Jeffrey Warner will merge his current department, Dealer Development and Customer Service with the National Sales Department. “This is a natural progression for these departments”, said Warner “I am excited about the new responsibilities and the unlimited potential this combination allows for the development of our dealers and of course, the ultimate goal, customer satisfaction.”
Warner came to corporate headquarters in 1983 after a number of years of service at New England Correct Craft in Rochester, New Hampshire. His experience in the retail arena prepared him for his service in several corporate departments, especially the Customer Service department, where he has served since 1991. Warner has an extensive knowledge of Correct Craft’s product and production process. He has personally taken over 20,000 people on tours of Correct Craft’s production facility.
Gary Meloon is an Orlando native who began his career at Southeast Correct Craft in 1971 where he was involved in all aspects of the business from service to retail sales. Meloon joined corporate headquarters in 1983 and has worked throughout the organization in many capacities including night shift supervisor, purchasing manager and the marketing department where he served as Marketing Director before being named National Sales Manager in 2001.
When asked about his new department, Meloon had this to say, “ I am thrilled to be returning to Marketing. This is a terrific opportunity to take what I have learned over the years from working closely with production and our dealers as we develop an even more comprehensive marketing plan to maintain and promote the Nautique brand.”
According to Etta Warner, Correct Craft’s Chairman of the Board, “This is an exciting time for Correct Craft, a new generation is taking an active leadership roll in the company founded by W.C. Meloon in 1925.” Warner continued, “These two individuals have served Correct Craft for many years and bring with them a new energy and enthusiasm that will take our company into the future.”
Correct Craft was founded in 1925 and is the manufacturer of the world famous Ski Nautique and Air Nautique towboats. Call 1.800.346.2092 for more information. www.nautiques.com
