Tampa, FL (October 4, 2016) -Earlier this morning, Correct Craft President and CEO Bill Yeargin, was named the 2016 Boating Industry Mover & Shaker of the Year during the IBEX Industry Breakfast in Tampa, Florida.
The Movers & Shakers program recognizes leaders who haven’t been afraid to take chances, to rethink the way they do business, to embrace the challenges facing the marine industry. Yeargin was chosen from more than 50 nominees that have shown the vision and leadership to move the boating industry forward.
Boating Industry Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Sweet presented Yeargin with the award stating, “We’re proud to name Bill as the 2016 Mover & Shaker of the Year. From his reshaping and building of Correct Craft to his involvement in the industry, he stands out as one of the top leaders in boating.”
Sweet cited Yeargin’s work in Washington, D.C. advocating key industry issues such as trade and workforce development, while managing Correct Craft’s numerous acquisitions as major factors in choosing Yeargin for this prestigious award.
