Official Correct Craft Press Release:
Orlando, FL (January 20, 2017) - Correct Craft announced today that it will be partnering with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) on its “Asia Project.”
The ICOMIA Asia Project is an ambitious initiative to help the marine industry better understand Asian markets and identify obstacles to growth there. The project team will work with national and local industry and authorities in several Asian countries to create recommendations related to developing a friendly recreational boating environment on the continent.
The first phase of the project will focus on understanding Asian markets and identifying any unique obstacles to marine industry growth within those markets. The second phase will work to develop economic and social impact studies that will help the industry engage the Asian governments and earn their support related to lowering barriers to doing business with the marine industry in their countries.
Udo Kleinitz, Secretary General of ICOMIA stated, “We are thrilled to have Correct Craft partner with us on the ICOMIA Asia Project. This is a collective effort with key industry players and Correct Craft’s excellent reputation and extensive experience in the global marketplace will significantly help us strengthen market insight in the region and benefit the international recreational marine industry”.
Bill Yeargin, CEO of Correct Craft stated, “As I have travelled through Asia, the growth and future market potential of the continent is obvious. Our team is working hard to both understand the Asian markets and be a valuable friend and supporter to our partners there.” Yeargin added, “I am very happy that Correct Craft is partnering with ICOMIA on this exciting project. I plan to be personally involved in supporting this project, in what may be the most vibrant area of the world.”
