Official Correct Craft Press Release:
Orlando, FL (October 1, 2019) - Today Correct Craft launched “Promote Your Passion”, a contest allowing nine non-profit organizations across Central Florida to promote their cause, without any expense to the nonprofit, through the Orlando Sentinel's website. Correct Craft has arranged for the Orlando Sentinel to promote the work of each of the non-profits who will solicit votes for their cause. Correct Craft will make contributions to the non-profits based on the support they receive through voting.
The nonprofits participating in the program are: Central Florida Children’s Home, Community Hope Center, IDignity, Impower, Samaritan Village, Chance to Dance, Always Wear Your Seatbelt, Healing Touch Therapeutic Riding Center, and Lighthouse Central Florida.
Each non-profit has information posted on Orlando Sentinel’s website where readers and visitors can learn about the organizations and vote on the one they believe should win a donation from Correct Craft. A live voting poll will show the voting from Tuesday, October 1st to Sunday, November 10th and ultimately determine the winners. The top charity of choice will be based on total votes. Participants are invited to vote for their favorite non-profit up to once a day.
Information about the non-profits and voting can be found here.
Correct Craft will contribute $5,000 to the top vote getter, $3,000 to second place and a $1,000 contribution to each of the other seven non-profit organizations.
Correct Craft President and CEO Bill Yeargin stated, “Correct Craft is thrilled to develop and support this program which will not only raise money for non-profits in our community but also create a tremendous amount of visibility for the wonderful work they are doing.”
Yeargin added, “At Correct Craft we are focused on ‘Making Life Better’ and can think of no better way to do that than providing visibility and resources for worthy organizations in our community.”
