Miami, FL (February 14, 2020) - This morning Correct Craft and its brands were honored with several awards, spanning many categories, at the Miami International Boat Show’s annual award breakfast.
Correct Craft companies won multiple innovation awards, which were judged by the Boating Writers International. These awards are some of the recreational boating industry’s highest honors for innovative and technological achievement. Correct Craft innovation winners included:
Regarding the multiple innovation awards, Correct Craft President and CEO Bill Yeargin stated, “Correct Craft and its companies have been very focused on innovation and it was apparent this morning that the industry recognized our team’s work. After being honored last fall as the industry’s most innovative company, it was exciting to build on that recognition with more big wins this morning.” Yeargin added, “Our Ingenity team has built the world’s most innovative electric drive system; our Nautique team has built the world’s most innovative watersports boat; and, our Pleasurecraft Engine Group team has developed the world’s most innovative watersports engines. I am incredibly proud of all our employees who made this happen and know we are just getting started; the future is bright!”
In addition to the innovation awards, Correct Craft brands Nautique, Centurion, Supreme, and PCM were also awarded NMMA Marine Industry CSI Awards. These awards are presented to brands who exceled in customer service during the prior year.
Finally, the Nautique marketing team was awarded a Neptune Award by the Marine Marketers of America for the industry’s “Best Integrated Marketing Campaign”.
Regarding these additional awards, Yeargin stated, “Our teams all strive for outstanding customer service and I am thrilled that the Nautique, Centurion, Supreme and PCM teams were recognized for providing that to their customers. - Ingenity, a Watershed Innovation initiative to ideate, iterate, and incubate future technologies for Correct Craft companies, received an innovation award for its state-of-the art electric drive system, which includes a one of a kind battery configuration that runs 2-3 hours in typical watersport use.
- The new Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon received the tow boat product innovation award for its overall innovation. The G23 Paragon was styled with the most prestigious craftsmanship that cultivates the best performing wakesboarding wakes and wakesurfing waves.
- Pleasurecraft Engine Group won an innovation award for its new Z Series of engines which is the most comprehensive product portfolio of engines in the inboard industry, spanning five models ranging from 400-600HP.
