Official Correct Craft Press Release:
Enterprise, FL (November 10, 2023) - Correct Craft, a leader in the marine industry, recently hosted its third annual "Mr. Ralph Service Day" in honor of Ralph Meloon, a member of the Correct Craft founding family. The event is a day for the company to give back to the community, echoing the values and spirit exemplified by Ralph Meloon throughout his life. The event occurred at the Florida United Methodist Children's Home with nearly 50 volunteers.
Ralph Meloon held various roles within the company, significantly shaping Correct Craft into a brand for watersports enthusiasts worldwide.
During the "Mr. Ralph Service Day," the Correct Craft team, which included members from Nautique Boat Company, Watershed Innovation, Osmosis, and Orlando Watersports Complex, extended their support to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home. This marked the second time the organizations came together to volunteer at this location.
The main goal of the service day was to renovate a 10-bedroom cottage to accommodate future foster children. Volunteers engaged in tasks such as painting interior walls, power washing windows, yard cleanup, and updating the cottage's basketball hoop. The Correct Craft team's efforts were a significant step towards making the cottage a welcoming and comfortable environment for the children who will reside there.
In addition to the work accomplished during the service day, volunteers had the privilege of hearing from some of the children who have found support and a positive impact in their lives at the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
Bill Yeargin, President and CEO of Correct Craft shared his thoughts on the event, stating, "The 'Mr. Ralph Service Day' is not just about giving back to the community; it's about celebrating the legacy of Ralph Meloon, whose dedication and vision continue to inspire us. It's a day of coming together to make a difference, just as Ralph did throughout his life." Yeargin continued, “It is always a wonderful experience to work side by side with our team to make life better for others who can use our help. I love our team!”
