Featuring a 6.0L Nautique 196, a Bemman Jump ramp, an 8 to 1 sloped shoreline and an air conditioned relaxed area to get out of theFlorida sun in between sets . . . Fluid Ski and Sports provides absolutely perfect conditions to maximize your learning environment.
“We have been involved in water-skiing at all different levels for all our lives. We share a passion for the sport that keeps us motivated to be at the lake everyday, training hard and trying to find what it takes to get just one more buoy or one more foot. Fluid Ski is giving us an opportunity to share what we have learnt in our careers, help shape future champions but most importantly foster a desire to learn, improve and enjoy in each and every skier . . . regardless of ability or age,” commented managing partners, Scot and Kyle.
To celebrate the opening of one of the most anticipated water-ski facilities in the world, Fluid Ski kicked off by hosting a one day record tournament that featured a number of world record holders, world champions and national champions. The event was a huge success with some great skiing in all divisions, most notably Chris Parrish rounding 4 @ 41off (10.25m), Jimmy Siemers tricking well into 11,000 points, Rhoni Barton going close to 8,000 and a number of the Open Men jumping all around the 220 foot buoy.
Fluid Ski and Sports will be hosting numerous other events later this year and plans to keep a close relationship with USAWaterski’s programs and the American Water Ski Educational Foundation who owns the lake. AWSEF President Bobby Reich stated, “We are really excited to have Scot and Kyle, two of the most respected athletes in the sport, setting up a new operation on our doorstep and working hard to promote the sport. Lake Grew is the perfect location, purpose built for tournament skiing, highly visible and closely situated to the Orlando area. We wish them all the best and look forward to a long successful relationship with them.”
