Orlando, FLA (February 10, 2009) – Nautique introduces the all-new Coastal Edition, designed specifically with coastal watersports enthusiasts in mind. This innovative package, which will be offered on Nautique models Super Air Nautique 210 and 230 as well as the Crossover Nautique 216V and 236, will make its first debut at the 2009 Miami Boat Show, February 12-16.
The Coastal Edition offers Nautique fans a larger array of watersports possibilities, from snorkeling and surfing to cruising along the coast, while also providing premium Nautique boats with enhanced saltwater protection that is simple to maintain. Nautique boats with the Coastal Edition will be equipped to effectively resist saltwater corrosion while maintaining premium performance capabilities with top-of-the-line components including a sealed steering cable, stainless steel steering tube with lubrication provision, zinc sacrificial anodes, stainless steel gas springs and a tinned copper wiring harness.
Nautique is also proud to introduce the Nautique LINC system, a digital platform with the largest array of integrated features available in the watersports market today, exclusively offered on the Coastal Edition. The Nautique LINC system has the ability to expand the helm integration capabilities to include user-friendly features like cruise control, GPS mapping and chart-plotting capabilities as well as stereo controls. Another notable feature is the complete video integration which allows the user to plug in any video source and view it directly on the high-definition screen.
Additionally, the Coastal Edition comes complete with a new Crusader Watersports Series (CWS) Engine. Special performance and durability features such as the Full Freshwater Cooling System, stainless steel components on the legendary PCM mounting system and the bullet-proof components & hardware are designed to successfully withstand the rigors of saltwater use.
