Official Correct Craft Press Release ---->
Orlando, FLA (September 29, 2008) This past weekend Nautique sponsored two premier grassroots watersports events in Central Florida, the Ski Nautique Big Dawg Finals and the Gravel Tour Finals.
The Ski Nautique Big Dawg Finals allows the world’s top amateur slalom skiers over 35 to vie in head-to-head competition behind the premium tournament ski boat, the Ski Nautique 196. This event took place this past weekend on Lake Hancock in Winter Garden, Florida. The Finals webcast, filmed by Watersports Webcasts, will be available to view at skinautiquebigdawg.com soon.
The Gravel Tour was founded by Bill Porter of Orlando’s Performance Ski & Surf and has become one of the nation’s leading grassroots wakeboard series. This tour provides the nation’s leading amateur wakeboarders the opportunity to battle it out for the top scores, exclusively behind premium Nautique boats. The fourth and final stop took place this past Saturday at the Orlando Watersports Complex, one of the world’s premier cable parks.
At both the Ski Nautique Big Dawg Finals and the Gravel Tour Finals, Nautique’s new Central Florida dealer, Nautiques of Orlando, was available on hand to support the watersports community. Nautiques of Orlando also had displays set up at each location complete with 2009 Nautique models.
“We are thrilled to sponsor these two awesome events that mean so much to the watersports industry and the Central Florida area,” commented Correct Craft’s President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “We are also happy to be aligned with Nautiques of Orlando, Orlando Watersports Complex and Performance Ski and Surf. Together, we are proud to offer the Central Florida community the very best in watersports equipment and training,” added Yeargin.
