Official Correct Craft Press Release ---->
Orlando, FLA (August 15, 2008) Yesterday, at the 2008 US National Water Ski Championships, Mindy Bates took first place in the Women’s 2 Trick category with a score of 3390 points.
Bates is the daughter of Correct Craft’s Board Chairman, Ken Meloon, as well as the sister of Correct Craft’s Vice President of Product Development, Greg Meloon. She grew up skiing behind her family’s Ski Nautique and believes that training behind this boat contributed greatly to her success in water skiing.
"I'm so grateful to my family and many fellow skiers who have helped me along the way. I wouldn't be a national champion without their investment in my life. Also, while I will always have a passion for water skiing, the most important thing in my life is my relationship with Christ. Finally, many thanks to Correct Craft for building the world’s best boat - I never ski behind anything other than a Nautique!” commented Mindy Bates.
Bill Yeargin, Correct Craft’s President and CEO stated “All of us on the Nautique team are incredibly excited for Mindy. Mindy has been skiing behind Nautique boats her entire life,” “All of us in the Nautique family enjoy celebrating Mindy’s success!” Yeargin added.
