Official Correct Craft Press Release
Orlando, FLA (October 12, 2007) — Correct Craft, Inc. announced today that the first 14 employees have completed a new extensive voluntary employee development program.
The Correct Craft employees started this program on September 8, 2007 and finished it on October 12, 2007. During those six weeks, employees attended classes designed to improve their skills spending time in each phase of the boat building process. They also spent considerable time learning about the importance of quality. The course content was developed and taught by leaders on the Correct Craft team.
The program, from which the 14 employees have now graduated, is designed to offer those employees who choose to participate an opportunity to develop skills that will not only help them further their career but also benefit them for a lifetime. Correct Craft plans to start a second group of employees through this innovative program within the next month.
Correct Craft’s President/CEO Bill Yeargin said, “I have been very encouraged to follow these employees through this employee development program. The employees who attended this program were all very excited to be a part of it.” “All of us at Correct Craft are committed to the concept of continuous improvement and this program is an important part of that effort.” Yeargin added.
