Official Correct Craft Press Release
(ORLANDO, FLA.) Thirty-nine sales representatives from 24 North American Correct Craft dealerships participated in intensive product training in Orlando, Fla., December 12-13. During the two day event, classroom sessions highlighted features and benefits of each model in the Correct Craft Nautique product line. Additionally, the conference included a comprehensive factory tour, on-water test rides and role playing to sharpen sales techniques.
“This was a great opportunity to fine tune sales skills in preparation for the boat show season,” said Correct Craft regional sales manager Greg Meloon who coordinated the event. “The information we imparted was complemented by the experiences our dealer salespeople shared with each other. It was extremely interactive.”
Other attendees included Team Nautique professional athletes Rhoni Barton Bischoff, Jaret Llewellyn, Andy Mapple, Shaun Murray and Shawn Watson who offered their experience with the product and how it compares to other manufacturers’ boats.
Darin Mercer of Taylor’s Boats in Draper, Utah, said, “We received some great information over the two days we were here. I’m leaving here a better salesperson than I was before the training.”
Upon completion of the training, each participant received a certificate recognizing their status as a Certified Nautique Specialist. Each person also received an embroidered staff shirt and was photographed with Correct Craft’s executive vice president Gary Meloon and company president Bill Yeargin.
