Official Correct Craft Press Release
ORLANDO, FL (September 14, 2005) —The legendary Ski Nautique 196 with a new hull for 2006 was debuted at the Okeeheelee Record Slalom Tournament this past weekend. After only one record capable tournament, the 196 has proven to possess the championship qualities that everyone in the industry has come to expect. The skiers absolutely love skiing behind the new Ski Nautique 196. There were eight performances that either tied a National record or set a new one. Also a new Japanese record and a new South Central Regional record were set this past weekend. This tournament represented skilled performances at all levels. While many athletes skied extremely well, others skied better than they have in previous tournaments all year.
Correct Craft has stayed true to its roots since 1961 when they produced the first inboard ski boat. Correct Craft continues to improve and modify the closed bow 196; it’s not just for the slalom fanatic, but a true three-event premier tournament ski boat. With the new TSC3 hull, Correct Craft has once again moved the industry forward. If it’s not a Nautique, you had better pass!
