The highly-anticipated new boat in Correct Craft's lineup has made its world debut in Raleigh, NC. The 2006 Super Air Nautique 220 is on display for the first time at the Carolina Fall Boat Show and Sale, which is being held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. White Lake Marine, the oldest Correct Craft dealership in the world, was chosen to represent Correct Craft during the premiere of this new model. Their location at the show, right next to the entrance, is ideal for the first showing of a new model.
The pictures that have been released show an extremely functional interior, with custom-configurable seating that is new to the industry. Correct Craft has taken full advantage of all available space in this model, making it capable of seating a ton of people and storing their gear.
A newly designed Flight Control Tower can be seen on this boat. Notice the angled tower speakers, reinforced bars, newly designed tower feet, and new Super Air Nautique graphics on the tower.
Another noteworthy feature on the 220 is the wet gear storage area above the engine, which we assume is there to aid in drying wet gear such as ropes, vests, and gloves. This storage area is accessible through the engine cover or through a special door at the rear of the boat, making it easy for the rider to grab their gear and go.
There is a hydro-gate/sport-shift on the boat, which can be used to adjust the shape of the wake easily. Three ballast tanks of presently undetermined size are also aboard.
Once we have received a press release from Correct Craft, we will provide more specific information about this exciting new model.
