ORLANDO, FL (February 17, 2005) — Orlando-based Correct Craft, Inc. is the recipient of its third consecutive J.D. Power and Associates® award for highest customer satisfaction in the Ski/Wakeboard segment of its 2005 Boat Competitive Information Study.
In addition to providing an analysis of product satisfaction and quality problems, the study ranks boat manufacturers on an index of product factors, including the boat’s exterior, features and controls, ride and handling, comfort and convenience, engine and propulsion and maintenance.
The J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Boat Competitive Information Study is based on responses from a total of 12,530 owners of 2003 and 2004 model-year boats registered between March 1, 2003 and May 31, 2004.
The study also finds that those who test drive their boat prior to purchase are significantly more satisfied than those who do not. Correct Craft vice-president Gary Meloon says, “This factor has been the key point in Correct Craft’s marketing strategy for a number of years, stressing its claim that…the only real test that matters is yours.”
Correct Craft will take the opportunity to personally thank its employees, suppliers and most of all its dealers. “Correct Craft dealers go above-and-beyond to take care of our customers, giving us the most satisfied customers in our industry, as our own satisfaction surveys have indicated,” Meloon stated.
CEO/President Terry McNew stated, “We feel this confirms our belief that customer satisfaction isn’t about the lowest purchase price. Discriminating buyers understand our products are built with superior components and craftsmanship that outperform our competition. Superior service provided by our dealers and service centers is also a prime reason we rank number one year after year.”
Celebrating 80 years of excellence in the marine industry, Correct Craft is a family-owned manufacturer of world-famous wakeboard, waterski, and recreational boats. Correct Craft, Inc., a Florida-based company, is known for leading the industry in technology and innovative hull designs.
