ORLANDO, FL (November 29, 2004) —New for 2005, Correct Craft, Inc. has done it again, setting the standards for the industry. The 2005 Sport Nautique SV-211, the first V-drive in history to be approved for Class C Tournaments.
Correct Craft never ceases to amaze the industry. They were the first to come out with the Flight Control Tower® and the TSC2 hull. Now, they have become the envy of the industry; the Sport Nautique SV-211 with a PCM ZR6 has been approved by USA Water Ski as the first unique crossover boat in a conventional V-drive to receive a Class C approved tournament towboat rating.
USA Water Ski evaluates all boats during phases of testing. Each driver observes the boat’s power package, design characteristics, steering, throttle, and instrumentation to determine the boat’s drivability. The boat is evaluated to see if any negative effects are produced which could make easy and consistent driving more difficult. The skier’s test team comments are very detailed, noting items such as acceleration and the hardness, height, and symmetry of the wake.
