ORLANDO, FLA (April 23, 2010) — Nautique is proud to announce the dates of the fifth annual O’Brien Big Dawg Series presented by the world-renowned, prestigious Nautique brand.
The two O’Brien Big Dawg qualifying tournaments will take place in Houston, Texas and Windsor, Colorado on June 25-26 and August 28-29, respectively. Each qualifying event will pit up to 50 skiers in head-to-head competition, all vying for cash and other prizes plus a chance to earn an invite to the finals held September 25-26 in Winter Garden, FL. Additionally, the head-to-head finals will be webcast live from Isles of Lake Hancock, allowing a large number of ski enthusiasts worldwide to view this fun and unique event from the comfort of their own homes.
This year’s Big Dawg finals will be recognized by the International Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) sanctioning the Big Dawg series a Class L with athletes participating all across the the United States and from various countries who will compete for the Big Dawg Title and a chance to set a 34 mph world record!
