ORLANDO, FLA (June 9, 2010) — Nautique and Marine University are partnering to offer Nautique dealers a standardized safety training program, resulting in dealer certification, with Hands-on Boating Safety Education.
The Marine University’s Boating Safety Education Program is funded through the U.S. Coast Guard and provides participating Nautique dealers with safety certification training. The certification will allow participating Nautique dealers to offer Coast Guard approved boating safety education at their locations. This will provide the dealers’ customers, plus their local communities, the opportunity to participate in Boater101 safety classes.
“Nautique is extremely excited to offer this training and certification to our dealer network,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “Safety is a top priority at Nautique and the Marine University offers a program that will not only be beneficial at the dealer level but also to our customers and their communities,” Yeargin added.
