ORLANDO, FLA (May 19, 2011) — Today, Nautique announced they will exclusively tow the 2011 IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakeboard Championships. The event will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia at the Watersports Complex Oresint6 on October 5th – 9th.
The world record breaking Ski Nautique 200 – Open Bow and the Super Air Nautique 210 will be the exclusive towboats for the 2011 Nautique IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakeboard Championships. This event will display the top ranked athletes in slalom, trick, jump and wakeboard from many of the countries in Asia.
“The Malaysian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (MWWF) is excited to have Nautique as the Official Towboat for the 2011 Nautique IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakeboard Championships which will be organized by MWWF in Putrajaya from October 5th – 9th,” stated Hanifah Yoong.
Deputy President of MWWF, Phillipa Yoong (who is also Southeast Asian top ranked women slalom skier) commented, "The Ski Nautique and Super Air Nautique are both excellent choices for the 100 Asian athletes who will come to Putrajaya from more than 15 countries this October. We are all looking forward to competing behind these state of the art Nautique towboats."
