Orlando, FLA (December 19, 2011) – Nautique announces the 53rd Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament will be held May 25-27, 2012 at the beautiful Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, during the Memorial Day Weekend.
Additionally, Nautique has named Lisa Steiner the Chief Judge of 3-event waterskiing and Rob Corum as the Chief Judge of wakeboarding and wakeskating for the 53rd Masters.
“As an official it has been rewarding to be challenged by the "greatest" athletes in watersports over the years. Now, to be recognized as the Chief Judge this year is truly the greatest honor. Nautique and Callaway Gardens continually puts a tournament on that is beyond expectation. With the technological innovations in the sport and having these elite presenters and athletes of this tournament, I cannot express how delighted I am to accept this opportunity to continue the tradition of greatness,” commented Lisa Steiner.
“Prior to the invention of wakeboarding and wakeskating, I’ve always wanted to be a part of the Masters. Having the opportunity to meet legends such as Bob and Kris LaPoint, Cory Pickos, Kristi Overton, and Sammy Duvall are great childhood memories of mine. The Masters intimate environment is with past, present, and future legends and is what keeps this tournament very prestigious and I'm honored for the opportunity to be Chief Judge,” stated Rob Corum.
Also, tickets for the 53rd Masters are now available for purchase via on-line. From now through January 31st, Masters fans will have an opportunity to purchase special discounted pavilion tickets for the Masters. Daily pavilion tickets will be offered at 50% below onsite gate pricing for a limited time. Join us for the awards banquet on Sunday evening for the Masters champions. Banquet tickets are also available for purchase including new convenient packages.
