At eighteen years old Mike Dowdy is quickly becoming one of the most watched riders on the water byboth fans and wakeboarding’s top competitors. This season Dowdy has been making a bold statementwith wins at the Nautique Wake Games, Masters, Pro Wakeboard Tour stops in Acworth and Fort Worthand is currently ranked number one in the King of Wake standings in the Junior Pro Men division.
With videos posted frequently showcasing his jaw dropping skills on a wakeboard the industry has takennotice of Dowdy’s dedication and enthusiasm to progress the sport. Dowdy is consistently throwing downpasses as a Junior competitor that rival those of the top Pro Men in the sport proving that he will be aforce to be reckoned with next season as he moves into the Pro Division.
