ORLANDO, FLA (August 9, 2013) - Nautique is pleased to announce that the Nautique Big Dawg World Tour Finals presented by O’Brien in conjunction with the 71st Water Ski Nationals will be viewable via live webcast for the head-to-head finals held next Friday evening, August 16th at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Nautique Big Dawg World Tour Finals allows the world’s best 34 mph skiers to vie in head-to-head competition behind the world record breaking tournament ski boat, the Ski Nautique 200. The preliminary round of competition will begin on the Thursday August 15th at 8:00AM and the finals will commence on Friday August 16th; admission on both days is free to the public. Additionally, the webcast will begin at 7:00PM EST with a recap of the Sweet 16 and the live webcast of the Elite 8 head-to-head competition under the lights beginning at 8:45PM EST viewable at nautiquebigdawg.com.
Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin stated, “It is exciting to see what began as a single tournament eight years ago grow into an esteemed World Tour featuring five global stops and a finals.” Yeargin also added, “This year’s final will be webcasted live as the Elite 8 finalists go head-to-head under the lights providing a heart pounding competition viewable to spectators all around the world.”
