Official Nautique Press Release:
ORLANDO, FL (April 16, 2015) -- Today Nautique Boat Company (Nautique) announced a reorganization of its executive team resulting in the promotion of two team members.
Greg Meloon will be assuming the role of President of Nautique and will be responsible for Sales, Marketing and Product Development. Meloon, a great-grandson of the company’s founder, has many years’ experience with Nautique beginning his career as a Sales Representative. For the last eight years, Meloon has served in Orlando on the company’s executive team with responsibility for product development and marketing.
Angela Pilkington will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer at Nautique. Pilkington’s responsibility at Nautique will include Production, Materials, Quality, Accounting and Administrative functions. Pilkington has been with Nautique for over thirty years and has most recently served as Correct Craft’s Vice President of Administration.
Over the past several years the Nautique brand has seen significant global market share increases and has received widespread recognition and awards for its products. These organizational changes are designed to ensure the company continues to build on the success of the past few years as its parent company, Correct Craft, expands into other boating segments.
The CEO of Nautique’s parent company Correct Craft, Bill Yeargin, will continue to also serve as CEO of Nautique Boats but will be relinquishing day-to-day operations of Nautique to Pilkington and Meloon. As CEO of Correct Craft Yeargin will continue to have strategic and executive involvement with Nautique as well as Correct Craft’s other subsidiaries which include Bass Cat, Yar-Craft, Pleasurecraft Marine and Aktion Parks. The leaders of each of these companies will report directly to Yeargin.
“I am thrilled to promote both Angela and Greg to these new positions; I cannot think of two people more deserving and I could not be happier for them,” stated Correct Craft President and CEO Bill Yeargin. “These changes will allow me to work not only with our Nautique team but also gives me more time to work with our teams at Correct Craft, Pleasurecraft Marine, Bass Cat, Yar-Craft and Aktion Parks while also continuing to lead Correct Craft’s merger and acquisition efforts,” Yeargin added.
