Official Nautique Press Release:
Orlando, FL (July 29, 2018) - This weekend Nautique team athlete Meagan Ethell took the win at the 2018 Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships in Monroe, Washington. Feeling extremely comfortable behind the wakes of the G23, Meagan threw down two insane passes during the Pro Women finals to seal the victory. In the perfect conditions, Meagan landed a wrapped heelside mute 540, a moby dick and a roll-to-blind that all looked effortless. Meagan just edged out another team Nautique athlete in Zahra Kell, who rode great all weekend long and landed in the second spot on the Pro Women's podium.
The race for the Pro Women's title in the Nautique Wake Series will come down to the last stop! The series culminates in Japan this August 30 - September 2, so stay tuned to see who will take the top honors. Click here for current standings.
“The year’s Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships was a super awesome event, all the ladies really threw down and the conditions were perfect behind the Super Air Nautique G23’'s wake,” commented Meagan Ethell. “I feel like the introduction of the new 4-trick format will really continue to progress Women’s wakeboarding.”
