Official Nautique Press Release:
Orlando, FL (October 30, 2018) - Team Nautique athlete Erika Lang has broken the World Record in Women's Trick with a score of 10,850 points behind the all-new 2019 Ski Nautique.
The record was set during a tournament held at Jack Travers Sunset Lakes in Groveland, Florida and has been approved by the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF). Erika has had an incredibly strong 2018 season and it seems only fitting that she would end it breaking a world record. It was possible thanks to the wakes behind the all-new Ski Nautique.
"The wakes effortlessly boost me in the air and allow me to do each trick with precision and efficiency," said Erika. "This new boat is allowing Tricks to be pushed to a new level and I’m excited to be a part of it!"
"It's no surprise that the Ski Nautique was the boat that Erika set the new World Record behind," said Nautique President Greg Meloon. "She's been training extremely hard and the wakes provide the perfect shape for her to perform her absolute best. Congrats to Erika on this amazing accomplishment!"
