Orlando, FL (March 25, 2019) - Nautique Boat Company and the World Wake Association (WWA) are proud to announce that the Junior Women’s Wakeboarding division has been added to the bill at the 2019 Nautique Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard event.
In an effort to continue the growth of women’s wakeboarding, Nautique and the WWA are excited to give these young women the opportunity to showcase their talent on the waters of Robin Lake. Riding behind the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23, these Junior Women wakeboarders will give it their all on Friday, May 24th alongside the other Junior divisions to see who will be crowned a Junior Masters champion. “We are very proud to have the Junior Women’s Wakeboard division at the 60th Masters,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “These up-and-comers will be showcasing the future of women’s wakeboarding behind the award-winning G23 and we’re stoked to see what kind of show they can put on!”
“We jumped at the chance to add the Junior Women’s Wakeboard division to the 2019 Nautique Masters. This will open up the opportunity for many young women to also compete at the Nautique Masters Wakeboard LCQ in April for a chance to their earn spot at Callaway Gardens,” commented WWA President Shannon Starling. “It is great partners such as Nautique Boats that allow us to continue progressing women's wakesports to new events, while establishing a deeper field for the future of all things wake.”
