December 10, 2020 - Nautique Boats is proud to announce the brand-new Nautique Masters Qualifying Series for the Junior and Pro waterski divisions to be held for the 61st Nautique Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament®, presented by GM Marine Engine Technology in 2021. Taking into consideration the unprecedented circumstances of 2020 waterski events around the world, for one year only this series will allow the best current waterskiers the opportunity to earn their spot in the 61st Masters in a fair and inclusive manner.
“We are excited to announce the all-new Nautique Masters Qualifying Series,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “In an extraordinary year, we want to provide athletes with a clear path to earn their invitation to the 2021 Nautique Masters including the best athletes in the world with the opportunity to compete. I look forward to seeing everyone at the 61st Masters!”
The Nautique Masters Qualifying Series will be comprised of three qualifying events that will be used to fill the 2021 Masters Pro divisions. Two of those events will also include Junior disciplines in order to fill the 2021 Junior Masters divisions. Below is a list of the Nautique Masters Qualifying Series events, and for a full list of qualifying criteria, please visit masterswaterski.com
Qualifying Event #1: May 7-9, 2021 at Pickos Ski School in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
