Official Nautique Press Release:
Orlando, FL (April 2, 2024) - Nautique Boat Company is proud to announce a partnership with Hop On A Cure, a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting research in order to prevent, reverse and cure ALS. Together, Nautique and Hop On A Cure will focus on gaining awareness for ALS and work towards the common goal of unleashing the power of community.
Nautique will be hosting the Hop On A Cure team at several events throughout 2024. This presence will aim to gain visibility to all the initiatives and fund raising that the Hop On A Cure team work towards. The first event they will be attending is the 64th Nautique Masters at Callaway Gardens on May 24-26, 2024.
"We're excited to partner with Nautique, and incredibly grateful to be a part of Nautique Cares initiative,” said Nic Shefrin, CEO of Hop On A Cure. “Research for ALS is an underfunded area, and awareness is so important. There's a natural alignment between Hop On A Cure and Nautique - from Hop's lifetime love of the water, to Nautique's mission to help make the world a better place. We're looking forward to collaborating with Nautique at upcoming events to reach a new audience and, eventually, find a cure for ALS."
Under the Nautique Cares initiative, there are several philanthropic efforts that the Nautique team participates in on an annual basis. Bringing the Hop On A Cure organization into the fold and providing them with a platform like the world-class Nautique events is just the first step in a meaningful partnership.
“I’m so proud to be embarking on this special partnership with Hop On A Cure,” stated Nautique President Greg Meloon. “Our culture here at Nautique is to make a difference in our community and I’m excited to get involved with the great people at Hop On A Cure.”
